With 25 years of experience, I’m Michelle Gilbertson, and I founded Mulberry’s Design House as Lethbridge’s interior design studio with one goal: to change the way homeowners experience design. I saw how many people were overwhelmed by choices and realized the missing piece was a calm, professional plan. I shifted my focus to space planning, layout optimization, and curated selection that happens before a single commitment is made, ensuring the result is as functional as it is beautiful.

The name Mulberry's was born on a shopping trip in Toronto.

After hours of brainstorming with no name that felt right, we took a break. Mulberry colored clothing was everywhere that season, and when I mentioned how much I loved the color, my friend simply said “why don’t you call it Mulberry’s?” I knew instantly it was perfect.

For me it represents exactly what I bring to every project: a love of rich, timeless design combined with a practical, grounded approach.
